FAQs – Guide to Public Pikes Peak Region 16 Opioid Abatement Council Meetings
We thank you for your interest and participation in the public process. In order to preserve decorum and ensure a civil environment in which public testimony on the region 16 meeting is enhanced and not disrupted, we ask that you please observe the following:
Public Comment & Sign Up
Members of the public may provide input when recognized by the Chair during agenda items or public comment. Please sign up with the meeting staff prior to the start of the meeting if you wish to speak.
Decorum
Clapping, shouting, or disruptive behavior is not permitted. Signs or materials that obstruct the views or hearing of proceedings are prohibited.
Audio/Video Recording
The Chair may require the persons making an audio or video recording to be directed to specific areas to avoid disruption or blocking access.
Cell Phones
Please silence all mobile devices.
THE CHAIR MAY REQUEST THE REMOVAL OF ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO DISRUPTS PROCEEDINGS OR ENDANGERS OTHERS.
